Piece 17

Monocular microscope manufactured by Neumann. Konisberg. Germany. 1900.

This Neumann monocular microscope is entirely made of brass. It has only one micrometer screw positioned vertically on the shaft. It has three objectives that are screwed in succession. It presents a curious 360º turning mechanism on the plate that has extraordinary mechanical precision. With four eyepieces and three objectives, it is the first model with an optical condenser.
