This small simple monocular microscope called «the nature microscope» was designed by Charles Baker as a compact model for observing nature. Reaches high magnifications from x 25 to x 220.Its base is circular in cast iron with a short column. Mirror with only one type of twist. Two-tube manual shift focus tube with two focal length scales. A single magnifying lens. Its very affordable price was £ 3.

Charles Baker was established in 1765 at 244 High Holborn in London and manufactured apparatus of excellent quality.
