This monocular microscope from J.T. Slugg, model “Dos guineas”, is very similar to the previous one, although a little smaller. Its characteristics meet the minimum requirements of the «Society of the Arts» model. However, this microscope was sold at a lower price (two guineas) than those of other manufacturers and for this reason he called it «the two guinea brass microscope» (model «Two guineas»).
