Nachet Mineralogical Microscope. c1890.

This Nachet mineralogical microscope is 37 cm tall. It is made of brass except for the black painted steel horseshoe foot. It has a square stage without a hole for the light so it lacks a condenser and the possibility of receiving light from the base. Presents an entry for prisms on the target. Its coarse focus system is achieved by raising the stage (reverse focus). Fine focusing is achieved by means of a knurled wheel located on the support shaft.
