Simple portable cylindrical microscope. 1840

This cylindrical portable simple microscope has a height of 7 cm. and a diameter of 2.5 cm. Covered with a thin layer of walnut root. Its cylindrical cover is made of cardboard. It corresponds to the model designed by the French F.V. Raspail in 1840.
