This Zeiss Model Max binocular microscope model, serial number 2,146,430. It has the modern binocular system of the Zeiss brand. It incorporates two main novelties:

1. macro and micrometric screws incorporated in a single coaxial screw.
2. Coaxial lighting from the base. The electric illumination optical device is inserted into the base of the microscope.
